Shortly after throwing out the first pitch at Fenway Park, Jason Collins marched in Saturday’s gay pride parade in Boston. Collins, the first active male athlete in one of the four major sports to come out as gay, marched with Massachusetts state representative Joe Kennedy, his former college roommate at Stanford.
Throughout the festivities, Collins was seen greeting other marchers and observers of all ages.
