Mike Tyson is a big fan of mixed martial arts and a friend of UFC president Dana White. Tyson spent last week enjoying himself as a guest of White’s at a variety of UFC 160 pre-fight activities.
Here’s Tyson at the weigh-ins on Friday, when Khabib Nurmagomedov shoved Abel Trujilo, prompting a brief scuffle that White had to break up:

Tyson spent fight night sitting front and center alongside the octagon, so he had an up-close view of all the action Saturday, including lightweight T.J. Grant’s upset knockout victory over Gray Maynard. That knockout was rivaled only by heavyweight Junior Dos Santos’ devastating spinning heel kick to finish off Mark Hunt.
White already had made up his mind about the $50,000 “Knockout of the Night” bonus going to Dos Santos. But that all changed once Tyson put his two cents in. Via MMAJunkie.com:
White went backstage to tell UFC matchmaker Joe Silva and co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta about the award recipients, including Dos Santos for his stoppage win.
“Tyson’s like, ‘What? No way! That little guy (should get it)!” White said. “So Lorenzo and me were like, all right. I’m not going to say no to Mike.”
Mike Tyson: still the man. Still not to be messed with.
