The golfer celebrated his freedom to wear some amazing flag pants at the Greenbrier Classic.
John Daly’s 5-over 75 first round Thursday put him near the bottom of the leaderboard at the Greenbrier Classic.
His amazing Fourth of July flag pants, however, placed among the most incredible red, white and blue outfits won in athletic competition since Apollo Creed entered the ring against Ivan Drago in Rocky IV.
Golf needs more of these James Brown type intros to matches. Daly and his amazing flag pants should have been ushered to the course with Kid Rock behind him, belting out his 2000 hit “American Bad Ass.” It would’ve been the most John Daly thing ever.
