Is it all slowly crumbling for the Miami Heat? After an impressive Game 3 triumph in Indiana, the Heat were widely viewed to be back on their way to a 3rd straight trip to the NBA Finals. But Tuesday they ran into a whistle-happy referee crew, couldn’t stop Roy Hibbert, and now are tied with the Pacers at two games apiece.
While pundits chew on Chris Bosh’s alarming ineffectiveness (14 fouls, 13 rebounds in the series so far) over the next 48 hours, I’m sure this will also get some run: my pal Lesley Abravanel at the Miami Herald is reporting that a Miami Heat player is allegedly cheating on his significant other.
We hear that a very taken Miami Heat player is having an affair with someone who lives in the King Cole condo in North Beach. Says our spy, “He’s there around midnight after every home game.” Our spy isn’t exaggerating. According to security, this player has repeatedly shown up at midnight and after asking for a particular woman’s apartment. The thing is, that woman is not his significant other. Girlfriend shouldn’t be too shocked considering that not too long ago shewas the one with whom her beloved baller was sneaking around.
