Cal revealed the new floor for the Haas Pavilion on Monday, with this nifty time-lapse videoshowing the floor being laid down piece by piece.

Some initial thoughts:

The Cal fight song seems really, really long. Maybe I just don’t listen to enough fight songs. But it seems like a really long fight song.

Love the navy blue painted area. I am not a fan of these new slick courts where the paint is the exact same color as the rest of the floor. It’s called “the paint” for a reason. Put some paint down.

That is one ANGRY looking bear. Let’s look at the photo.
